Woodstock Gutter Solutionists
Gutters for Woodstock, from the depot downtown to the cul-de-sacs of Towne Lake
Woodstock was a railroad stop before it was a suburb. The town was incorporated in 1897, and the Louisville and Nashville Railroad built the depot downtown in 1912 to ship cotton, rope and passengers. The big change came in the late 1980s, when the Means Brothers Company began Towne Lake on wooded land west of downtown that locals called Thousand-Acre Woods. Across 30188 and 30189, the 1990s are the biggest single decade for housing at 26.5 percent, and 45 percent of homes date from 1980 to 1999. Many of those houses are still on their first gutters, with worn seams and sagging hangers, and on larger homes in Eagle Watch some owners step up to copper gutters when they replace.
Towne Lake is crossed by Rose Creek and Noonday Creek, which run north to the Little River, and the hardwoods and pines along them shade plenty of rooflines. The NOAA normal at the Holly Springs 1.0 NNE station, just north of town, is 53.54 inches a year. March is the wettest month at 5.13 inches, July follows at 5.04 and December brings 4.98. Lots that slope toward a creek can push roof water straight across the yard and wash out the clay, so on those homes we often run downspouts into underground drainage.
Josh Bowie owns this franchise of The Brothers That Just Do Gutters, and along with the home office in Suwanee it keeps an office in Ball Ground, up I-575 from Woodstock, so Cherokee County jobs are never a long haul. Our Solutionists roll-form new gutters on the truck, clean and flush older systems, reseal leaking joints, replace rotted fascia and install BroGuard and pine needle gutter guards. Estimates cost nothing, come in writing and carry no pressure, and every review we receive is published, good or bad.

Why the Brothers
Why Woodstock Homeowners Call the Brothers
Many Woodstock homes are still on their original gutters. We replace them with seamless runs measured and formed on site.
Homes near Rose Creek, Noonday Creek and the Little River get guards and downspout routing that suit wooded, sloping yards.
No month at the Holly Springs station averages under 3.6 inches, so we size outlets and downspouts for steady rain, not a dry season.
Josh Bowie owns the franchise, and our Ball Ground office sits just up I-575. Call (770) 637-5130 to set up a free written estimate.

- Spring · Mar to MayMarch is wettest
March tops the year at 5.13 inches, right as pine pollen and oak catkins land. Clean the trough and test the outlets.
- Summer · Jun to AugJuly storms
July averages 5.04 inches, much of it in short afternoon storms. Note any corner that overflows and have it checked.
- Fall · Sep to NovCreek trees let go
Schedule guards or a cleaning before the hardwoods along the creeks drop, and look at downspouts after any tropical soaking.

If they leak at the corners, sag between hangers or pull away from the fascia, usually yes. Gutters hung when Towne Lake and the neighborhoods around it were built are now roughly three decades old. Patching buys time, but seamless runs formed on site remove most of the seams that leak, and we check the fascia behind them before anything new goes up.
On most creekside lots, yes. Homes near Rose Creek, Noonday Creek and the Little River tend to sit under oaks, poplars and pines, so leaves come down in fall and needles come down all year. BroGuard stainless micro-mesh keeps that debris on top of the gutter while rain passes through, which cuts cleanings down to a quick check.
Woodstock clay sheds water fast, and many lots slope toward a creek. A downspout that empties at the corner of the house cuts a channel across the yard. We extend the outlet, add a splash pad, or pipe it underground so it comes out farther down the slope where it does no harm.
Late November or early December, after the hardwoods drop, and again in late spring once the pollen is done. March is the wettest month at the nearest NOAA station, so a clean system going into spring matters as much as the fall visit. Homes under heavy pine cover may need a third cleaning.
We cover ZIP codes 30188 and 30189, including downtown Woodstock and Main Street, Towne Lake, Eagle Watch, the neighborhoods off Towne Lake Parkway and Bells Ferry Road, and homes along Arnold Mill Road and Highway 92.
